Confined Space Entry Policies and Procedures – This Plan is required whenever employees are required to work in or enter a confined space.  The Plan includes entry policies and rescue procedures.  The cost on developing the Plan depends on the type of confined spaces in the workplace.

Emergency Action Plan (EAP) – Every workplace is required to have an EAP.  Your customized Plan will include procedures for evacuating your facility, outline training requirements for employees, and contain information on how to minimize disasters and respond to emergencies.  The cost for delivering the Plan depends on many factors, such as the size of the facility, the number of employees, the hazards exposed, the availability of existing information, etc.

Ergonomics Program – Employers who have a high incident rate of muscleskeletal disorders (MSDs) may want to implement an Ergonomics Program to provide policy and procedures for reducing repetitive motion disorders and related cumulative trauma.  The cost for creating the Program depends on the type and quantity ergonomic-related hazards. 

Fall Protection Plan – Any employer that exposes an employee to a fall of greater than the 30” (6’ for construction) must have a written Plan.  A customized Plan can be created to give guidance of the proper procedures and equipment needed to work at elevated locations.  The cost of the Plan depends on the type of hazards, the fall protection equipment used, established rescue procedures, and the number of employees protected by the Plan.

Hazard Communication Plan
– Any company that has chemicals in the workplace must have a written Haz Com Program.   Items included in the customized Program includes safety precautions, personal protective equipment, spill/release procedures, etc.  The cost for creating the Program depends on such factors as the number and types of chemicals, the number of employees covered under the Program, and the availability of existing chemical information.  NOTE:  A current inventory of chemicals must be made prior to completing the Program.

Illness & Injury Prevention Plan (I.I.P.P.) – The IIPP is the foundation of your company’s Safety Program, from which all other Plans can be developed.  Topics covered in your customized IIPP include: the assignment of responsibilities, training and inspection procedures, accident investigation procedures, employee discipline and recognition policies, etc.  The cost of the plan depends on availability of existing information, the format of the Plan, and the size of your company.

Lock-Out/Tag-Out Written Plans – A LOTO Plan is required to protect employees or contractors from accidental starting or movement of machinery of equipment.  Locking or blocking procedures for each piece of equipment is included.  The cost of the customized Plan depends on the number and types of equipment and the number of employees covered by the Plan.

Machine Guarding Program – A written program is required to provide policies and procedures for the safe use of guards on machines and equipment.  The Program will include safe work practices to prevent injuries relating to improper installation, use and circumventing and machine safe guards.  The cost of the customized Program depends on the number and types of equipment and covered in the Program.

Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Program – Employers who use forklifts or other industrial trucks must have polices and procedures for the safe use of this equipment.  The PIT Program includes training requirements, preventative maintenance schedules, inspection procedures, and safe work habits.

Respiratory Protection Plan – Employers who require employees to wear a respirator must have a written Program stating procedures for selecting the proper respirator, maintenance, storage and cleaning procedures, medical surveillance, and proper fit.  The cost of your customized Program depends on the types of chemicals used, the results of air sampling, and the number of employees covered under the Program.
